Looking for music for choir + recorder consort

by "a l l y" <ally@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 26, 2006 at 12:13 AM

Hi folks

Pardon me for butting in - I'm looking for some advice. Our recorder
consort
(8 of us) are sharing a platform with a top a capella choir in October,
and
we're trying to find a couple of pieces that we can perform together. I
had
no idea it'd be so difficult to find music arranged for voices and
recorders! Any ideas? Ideally we want something modern - jazz or swing or
that sort of era maybe. Even if it was arranged for a different group of
instruments it's not hard for us to rearrange it for recorders.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks.
