I'm agree with you 100% SpaceBoss.

BP stands out because of Alice's articulation, the quality of the song
writing, the quality of the sound, and it's relevant topics.

Put on your headphones and listen to Alice sing any song on BP.

Listen closely to the articulation and how *every* word stands out.

"Pieces of a skull" is "*Pieccess of a Skkuull".

When he says "Gimme This Gimme That" you get it. !GIMME!

Listen to Alice's other albums - but nothing compares articulation-
wise to BP.

To get that sound Alice must have practiced like crazy. He may have
been inspired by the great young guys in his band.

Another thing I like about BP is that it's not repetitive in the sense
that songs don't drag out. There's not spot where, while listening,
you say to your self, I wish I could fast forward out of here - I've
heard this before.

Eyes and DD both have songs that seem to have been cooked up at the
studio and are repetitous in a boring way. Backyard Brawl - cool song
title - but that song is a waste.

Another thing cool about BP is the quality of the sound.

On Wicked Young Man, how do they get that effect of making it sound
like the amplifier is turned *All The Way Up* ?

That sound is so cool I used to use it as my ringtone.

I would use it now if I could get it going in my iPhone. (Sadly none
of BP can be used as a ringtone.)

Other effects, such as the wind blowing in Pick Up the Bones. Way
cool.

Then there is the topic list: BP touches on political correctness,
fighting in Kosovo, genicide in Africa, the shootings at Columbine.
And the song BP itself has religious meaning and sort of asks a big
question - What are we doing with our planet that once was paradise.

My take on it was that the words to BP were so brutal that Alice
didn't want to be associated with them - so he moved on to other music
and other topics that aren't so intense.

Parts of Dragontown are as cool as BP. *** Death and Money. I mean,
you haven't lived if you haven't seen Alice live and sung along.

I like most of Eyes and DD - but neither compares to BP.
