Re: "Eyes of" and "Dirty Diamonds" are great albums, but.......

"eyes of" is probably my least favorite AC album.not bad,just sounds
like an album of b sides IMO.the garage sound gets older quicker than I
thought it would when I heard that's the direction alice was taking for
that one.by the time "backyard brawl" comes on, I was telling myself
that many of the tracks sounded the same! definately sounds
forced/rushed to me.
  now "dirty diamonds" is like night and day by comparison to me:better
production,more interesting lyrics,many different styles of music
pursued.I pull it out often....
  I hear what you guys are saying about the '80's albums.It's funny how
his '70's albums don't seem to have aged,but oh boy do the synthesizers
of the early '80's and kane's playing on the late '80's sound dated!!!!!
I like 'em all though!!!
