The other evening I happened upon a special 'Alice In Chains: Radio'
broadcast on X103.9 (in California). I only got the tail end of it of
course, but they were apparently had the remaining members on via
telephone
or something. In between the montage of AIC music that was played (which
of
course I reveled at)they'd ask poignant questions to each person about
this
that and the other. Well to get to the point of all this when it came
around
to Jerry, he seemed to be the only one who spoke of Layne rather shall I
say, indifferently, without emotion in his words, basically being a dick
I'd
say (there's a shocker).
Everyone else spoke like they really missed and wanted Layne back.
But Jerry.... he was like (to paraphrase his overal attitude as I
interpreted it): ' Well, he (Layne) chose his own path and like we were
strong and like he wasn't.. and that they were for the music (like Layne
wasn't) and ,**** like that... you know?
Well he just really showed what he is:
at least in my opinion until proven otherwise:
An ungrateful, arrogant, follower wanting to Lead but knowing only what
other's show him.
He's going nowhere and I hope he gets there FAST.

(Hope I don't offend any Jerry Lover's out there but quite frankly He
hasn't
shown (in interviews or any other form) grattitude, humility, nor the
basic
reverence for what he really was a part of.). For Christ's sake he acted
like he was irritated by Layne's name being mentioned by the DJ! Yet he
has
no problem going out and trying to live off of the AIC name and fanbase
that
without question LAYNE through HIS gift CREATED,
(not to take anything from the other guys in the band of course, but facts
are facts whoever's on vocals generally makes or breaks a band's future)
and
acts like he didnt need Layne at all.
Guess what bud, you have no idea how wrong you are.
Just another Jerry ba****ng rant by a lowly- piss ant nobody....
