Re: The End?

Although newsgroups serve as a great archive for past information on
the Net, I believe they sadly have no real future. I'm sure there are
some that are still doing well, but you can't expect this one to,
especially nearly 5 years after Staley's death.

Newsgroups in general were one of the main channels for posting and
reading material in the early 90's but bulletin boards have killed all
that. To make matters worse, old bulletin board posts are often trimmed
back, and often times entire bulletin boards have gone defunct or were
replaced by improved ones.

It has been sad to see this place go downhill, but time just takes care
of things in the end...

This was probably my first post on here in 4-5 years.. lol
