We dedicate this show to Peony (Fishy of Fishy/Froggy fame) who finally
passed yesterday. I will miss my fishy who was very pretty and playful
but had been ill since Christmas and had hung on much longer than I
ever imagined possible. Peony is buried under the rose bush near Anansi
the tarantula and I was pleased to see a young katydid bouncing around.
I instructed the katydid to guard the graves and she nodded sagely and
watched the proceedings with great interest. Miss Sophia could not
partake as she is currently under house arrest!
So this week we have a bit of the blues.. nothing like peppering a
midsummer's show with a bit of the blues when you're melancholy to
cheer you right up. With the talented artists on this week's playlist
we'll be tapping our feet and humming right along! Of course, I threw
in some dance in the middle and then a little punk rock just to stir it
up!
