Hey, robby. you like the 80's so much, i have decided to help you
discover some great music from that time. Most of the pop dross from
that age sucks dick, but there was a lot of REAL COOL music, too. In the
posts ahead i will use that space to bring you up to speed.
Start your education below: we will make up for you being a college
dropout loser!

The Wallets

The Wallets were a band from the Twin Cities, who recorded on the local
Twin/Tone Records label. Founded as an experimental group by
accordionist Steve Kramer and managed by Bob Hest, the band performed
for most of their career as a quintet featuring Kramer, drummer Erik
Anderson, bassist Jim Clifford, keyboardist Rod Gordon, and saxophonist
Max Ray. The Wallets performed their final show at the Guthrie Theatre
in Minneapolis on January 23, 1989.
Kramer and Hest later formed an advertising agency, currently known as
Hest & Kramer, Van House Weber [1], noted for its use of music in
television ads for clients such as Target and Buick.
