Based on votes by participating Metro Atlanta Country Music Club
members in the Atlanta area. Tie-breakers are awarded by virtue of
recent impact following MACMC chart guidelines.
The Metro Atlanta Country Music Club (http://www.macmc.net)
is a
Christian-owned organization that promotes country, bluegrass, and
southern gospel music in the Atlanta area. Local members are eligible
to vote on their favorite current country music each month if they
would like, as member-voted charts are published each month in the
Monthly Update. The newsletter also contains news items, concert
information, a monthly datebook, and profiles, including bluegrass and
southern gospel news and concert information. Generally TWO mailers
are sent, those being the main one at the first of the month, and the
second is a notice about voting (around the 20th) and some updated
information. PLEASE NOTE: The voting zone would be considered as all
areas between Atlanta and the following towns and cities: Rome,
Carrollton, LaGrange, Jackson, Monticello, Athens, Cornelia,
Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Calhoun and Chatsworth. But anyone
can join! Please log on to our member****p page at
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/MetroAtlantaCountryMusicClub.
The MACMC Home Page (http://www.macmc.net)
includes a newsletter
archive for circulars from the past, classified ads section where you
can submit and read ads, a photo page where fans share their
music-related photos, links to country, bluegrass and gospel Web
pages, links to news groups, two online radio stations playing country
and bluegrass music, and daily news updates. There are many more
links as well. And as usual there is the current MACMC newsletter,
concert listings, the No. 1 hit list, and Georgia/regional radio
guide, fan club listing, gospel contact listings, member****p
information, as well as a Pollstar concert search query, and news and
weather information. This site is a member of the OCIH (Organization
of Christians With Internet Home Pages).
MACMC has many local fans, musicians, promoters and disc jockeys as
part of the organization. Dedicated to serving 45 North Georgia
counties, we have been a part of the Atlanta music community since
1987.
