The Sterling High School Marching Band is searching for the following
positions for the 2008 marching band season:
1. Battery Caption Head/and or techs
Writing is optional, may bring in techs they are
comfortable
with
2. Visual Caption Head/Instructor
3. Marching/Music Tech
Strong Clarinet or Saxophone experience required
4.Front Ensemble/Pit Tech
1 & 2 must have a minimum of 60 college credits and are BOE paid
contracts.
3, 4 & any battery techs are volunteer positions, paid by the Band
Boosters
and determined by experience and commitment.
All must be available for most summer and fall weekday rehearsals
(Tues/Thurs) including band camp on August 22nd - 26th, 2008. Rehearsals
are Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-9 pm. The school is located in
Somerdale, NJ (South) in Camden County.
Previous experience for all positions is recommended, WGI/DCI experience a
plus!
