John Wicks and The Records on Beach boys tribute Smiles Vibes & Harmonies a tribute to Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys as The Records

This version of Darlin by John Wicks and The Records is the best Beach Boys
or Brian Wilson cover that I've heard in my life. The Records perform the
best song on the Smiles, Vibes & Harmony disc with their stunning version
of Darlin with John Wicks on vocals, Huw Gower on guitar, Will Birch on
drums and Phil Brown on bass guitar. The production is out of this world
and the performance proves that The Records were a tighter band than many
classic rock and pop fans imagined. The Records may have been famous in
the 1970s and 1980s but there is no sign of anything but solid melodic
consistency as only John Wicks and company can do it.

I think they do let you listen to a few seconds of the song as a sample
mp3 on johnwicksandtherecords.com but it's still my all time favorite
cover of a beach boys song ever no doubt.

thanks, jamal
