Help! Pauls boutique ?

I have a good one for you- I believe that when Rolling Stone mag
originally reviewed Paul's Boutique they gave it a poor 2 star or so
review - they were generally unimpressed.

My friend says I'm wrong and that the RS review was fancshmabulous and
that it persuaded him to buy the record.

Would anyone have any information or perhaps even this issue of the
mag? The review would be of course from 1989 or 1990. I haven't been
able to find it on the web.
