I'm looking for an accurate setlist for the Flecktones set in the
Acoustic Planet show from 2004-09-04 at Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA. The
taper who uploaded that show to archive.com was apparently uncertain
about a few tracks (they also made the aesthetic choice to put each
act's set on a separate disc, resulting in the show spanning four discs
(one more than really needed) and requiring them to FADE out and back
in on the "transition jams". Yikes. Not really the choice I would have
made, myself - the artists on that tour made a special POINT of
smoothly transitioning from one act to another without a break in the
playing. (One at a time, members of the following act would *join* in
playing with the preceding act on stage one at a time, and members of
the preceding act would *leave* the stage one at a time as the new
musicians joined in, so the performance would "morph" smoothly from
artist to artist. Actually one of the coolest things about the entire
show, IMHO).
So in fact, as long as I'm thinking about it, does anyone have a
non-edited copy of that show? Or, for that matter, the show from
2004-08-11 (on the same tour), for which the only available copy at
archive.com was taped by someone using a "Sony minidisc recorder
MZ-NF810 with stereo mics". The resulting sound quality was pretty
much what you might predict (unfortunately)... Thanks in advance, all!
