Hi all, I am a bass player and I always keep an eye on this group. I know
your tastes are probably broader than just Big Band , so for the jazz
lovers, this is just to let the Brits here know that I have started up
a
new jazz jam session at the Woburn village hall, near Milton Keynes.
It will run on the second Thursday of every month.
Starts at 8pm,
£2.00 entrance or £1.50 if you intend to join in. They have a good bar,
lots of parking, and its not far from the M1.
At last months session I met lots of new musicians and got the chance to
play some new numbers, I always like the challenge of new pieces, even if
there is no lead sheet, it makes the session buzz. We had a really great
night.
