On Sunday, one of the two news servers I use to access this group reached 5
years of archives--they have not deleted posts in this or (to my
knowledge)
any other non-binary group posted on or after June 22, 2003. Who knows,
they may continue adding space so that they can always date back that far,
in which case all of those posts would always be available to us.
But in case they don't, is there a software program that will
automatically
download and store an entire newsgroup? I'd like to archive this and a few
others for posterity...and of course no one has the time to download the
posts one-by-one.
