Björk will be headlining the Japan Live8 next Saturday 2nd of July.
Applications for tickets are now open through the Japanese official
website
www.live8.jp. You click on the 'ticket' tab and follow the instructions
through to the excite.co.jp dedicated website.
You then get entered for a ticket 'lottery'. This closed at noon Japan
time
on Wed, and the winners will be selected at random and notified by e-mail
on
Thu. They then bring their individual winners number with ID to the venue,
which acts as their ticket.

Live 8 organisers in Japan, Bottle and Dentsu, with the backing of Oxfam,
have joined Bob Geldof to announce a huge concert on 2nd July. Tokyo has
stepped up to join the simultaneous free concert series already planned
for
Philadelphia, London, Paris, Berlin, Rome and Toronto on July 2nd. Japan
Live 8 is the 6th show to be officially confirmed, and will join in the
call
to allow citizens of the most powerful nations to tell the leaders of the
eight wealthiest countries in the world to make poverty history at the
historic G8 Summit on July 6th in Edinburgh. Live 8 Japan will be the very
first concert to kick off the series of events anywhere in the world on
the
2nd July.
