I recently completed writing a song for a music festival in Kaunas
Lithuania
celebrating the Virgin Mary. The festival is called "Giesmes Marijai"
(Hymns for Mary) the song is called "Sviesos Marija" (Mary of Light). The
song will be performed by the celebrated Kaunas choir Pastorale conducted
by
Nijole Jautakiene. The concert will be on May 19th at 4:00 pm at the
Church
of the Holy Resurrection in Kaunas. The festival will be broadcast live
nationwide. I intend to post MP3's of the performance at GintareArts.com.
Mike Nickerson of the "Come Sunday" jazz radio program on WERU FM in Blue
Hill Maine will be sharing some of my music Sunday May 28th from 11:00 am
to
1:00 pm EST (USA). The program is broadcast every Sunday at this time.
