I do, I do! My first show, I think I paid $12.50 to see Bruce/ESB...
Much as I love Bruce, I'm passing on the Chicago show in hopes of a
Milwaukee show being added.
But I don't think he's even among the worst offenders when it comes to
ticket prices. Kind of weird, in some cases, I think it's almost a
status thing with people to fork over huge amounts to see big names
that are basically just reha****ng their way-old hits. (and yes, Duran
Duran, I'm talking to YOU!) The nostalgia train seems to be getting
longer and longer. I saw the Gin Blossoms last November at Potawatomi,
which was an exercise in bizarre.
