i dont normally post unless i think its something worth posting.
so here it is..
avoid one thing played my hometown of wilkes-barre tonight (i'm not
proud of wilkes-barre) and they sounded great even though there was
like no one there but gay ass teens dancing like hippies in the pit.
after the show i had a nice conversation with joe g. of course the
bosstones was one of the first things i asked him. first of all he
seems very concerned about fans thinking the bosstones just don't care
anymore. he said that's not true. they do have plans but not really
sure what yet. he said the throwdown happening in the summer was never
really a solid plan and probably should have never been posted. there
is talk however of the bosstones doing the warped tour show this year
in boston. (that would be a sorta long drive, flight for some, to hear
a half hour of tunes).also he said they would like dicky to like
announce for kimmel that night from the warped tour. I told him i felt
all the negative talk about the bosstones is just because a lack of
info. he agreed, he said he thought about putting a hidden link on
the aot webpage, which would contain bosstone info. he also mentioned
them still wanting to put out a dvd and that he talks to dick
everyday. he also talked to lawrence recently, saw chris rhodes
recently, and joe sirois is now a permanent fixture in the street
dogs. he also mentioned that the side thing dicky and lawrence were
working on was mostly songs that didnt make jktas. and to conclude
this thing when he hasnt been touring with aot he's been doing
practical things, such as painting his house. joe asked me to post
this info. for all of you to share, and i did cuz joe g. is the man.
