Roger's site - Two comments

I recently visited Roger's site to check his schedule and to see where
he is playing, and if anything is new.

First, I was glad to read about the Live from Spain CD, and I will
defintely buy one or two from Camilla at the next show I attend.

Going into the site map though, I was not happy to see that he has
incor****ated earlier controversial comments into the "deep questions"
sections. I do not converse with Roger, but if I did, I would
respectfully ask him to consider removing the "deep questions" on his
website, forever. There are a lot of his fans that just want to be
just that,,,,fans of his music, his tremendous talent and his
illustrious career....we do not want to be confronted by his politics
or religious beliefs at all, or even to know about them, but he
continues to put them out there or talk about them over and again.

Some things in that section of his site are marginally interesting
(bringing a girl on a date to a 3 Dog Night show and going backstage
and eventually ending up looking at a picture on her dresser..)  but
even those are not very compelling. Other parts of it just don't seem
to make sense. For example, Roger talks about doing drugs like cocaine
and marijuana and the resulting paranoia....but then he mixes that up
with finding Jesus via what he claims was a miraculous healing of the
pressure he had felt in his chest. Perhaps quitting coke had something
to do with the removal of that well known symptom of that sort of drug
use?  Roger then goes on to quote the controversial passage in
Corinthians, but then admits that even if he didn't believe ,,,,that
he would still not want a Byrds reunion.
OK, then what is the point of citing and interpreting Biblical verse,
which in reality could be interprted quite differently by others,
including theologians?
I know, Roger has the right to preach religion if he wants. I just
hope he decides it is not a good idea because I just cringe when he
does it.
