Gram and the Burritos live at the Avalon

by copperhead <copperhead365@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 21, 2007 at 06:50 AM

I picked up this two-disc CD last week and have really been enjoying
it. The recording quality is surprisingly good for its age, and the
band sounds fine. I especially enjoy Sneaky Pete's pedal steel, and
Grams smoky voice. Many of the songs would be chart toppers in
today's country market, as Nashville has acquired some rock
sensibilities over the years. Excellent lyricist as well, Mr.
Parsons. It's on Amoeba Records, and available from amazon and other
outlets.
