Morning all,
This is a repeated post from various other newsgroups. My apologies
to those who read this already.
The whole Sonata and especially the Fugue really caught my
attention...again. So...I sat down with my 2 decade old notes and
sketches,
updated this one, and started engraving, editing and all that, while
playing
thru it and enjoying the heck out of myself. I posted a one page example
of
the edited work in our Samples Page, toward the top. Links are attached
below.
The fugue is beautiful, coming off the fingers with incredible
facility. The plan is to compile a list of sample pieces from the various
sonatas and partitas, the ones that are a pure joy to play, or to publish
books containing the entirety of the collections. Hope you enjoy fiddlin'
