While not being the biggest of Queen fan and not owning one of their
albums, I will definetly be at the ****tland show. I saw Queen twice in
the late 70's/early 80's and those shows rank as the best ever. And
that comes from someone who has seen 150 plus bands live.
This was at the peak of their US popularity, and I swear there has
never been a frontman like Freddie. He could have told the ****tland
crowd to go jump off of the Broadway bridge, and half of the crowd
probably would had! Then he grew the mustache and I think he lost a
lot of people with that, but this might had coincided with his
admission of being gay, I am not sure. I just remember that Queen
kinda lost a bit of popularity stateside.
