The great multi-instrumental wizard of rock -- organ, piano, sax,
accordion -- GARTH HUDSON was a founding member of "The Band." From
Ronnie Hawkins, Music From Big Pink, and DYLAN-goes-electric to Martin
Scorsese's The Last Waltz, he's had a key role in some of the great
moments in music history. Hudson shares the stage here with his wife
Maud, with whom he recorded LIVE at the WOLF (http://theband.hiof.no/
albums/live_at_the_wolf.html) in 2005. He comes to the festival for
the first time to celebrate his 70th birthday and his new Savoy Jazz
album. An intimate expedition beyond the Genetic Method.
