Which one?
Studio: http://theband.hiof.no/albums/rco_all_stars.html
or live: http://theband.hiof.no/albums/rco_all_stars_live_lhs.html
?
The obvious answer is both, because how could one get enough of the
Blues Brothers band backing Levon? It's too good to be true, or at
least so I thought until I got ahold of the 1977 vinyl. The
interactive packaging of the vinyl justifies buying it over the CD,
imho.
Here's a streaming version of the live album, courtesy of Free
Napster: http://free.napster.com/view/artist/index.html?id=12410672
(caveat: only works in the States)
And then there's the self-title eponymous album featuring virtually
the same line-up: http://theband.hiof.no/albums/levon_helm_1.html
As for b&p, visit your local used record shop (on a regular basis;
this will take some hunting)! You're sure to find some gems there, as
well as sup****ting local business, instead of the USPS. That's how I
built the majority of my The Band vinyl collection.
