Hi Ethan
Am so glad you found The Band.... I would urge you to also listen to
Rock of Ages, their live concert from the early 70s - the latest
release has a number of bonus tracks particularly those that Bob Dylan
played with them not previously available. Also Before The Flood is
the live album of the combined Dylan and The Band concert in 1974.
Also presume you have found The Band's website which is maintained by
a dedicated fan somewhere in Scandanavia - it is very helpful if you
want info: http://theband.hiof.no/
There is not much DVD footage -
but as listed on the website Classic Albums - The Band and The
Authorised Biography are good. And if you're into reading Barney
Hoskyns wrote a great bio Across The Great Divide.
Happy listening friend....
Annie
