Over the years I have heard many bands try to sound like The Cars with
absolutely no success. It is quite written in stone that no one can
re-create their magic. I'm glad for one.
However, when ever I hear the song "Swing Swing" by the "All American
Rejects", I can hear the faint voice of Ben Orr in the vocals, and the
slick guitar rifts of Elliot, and the rhythmic pounding of Ric's
style.
Anyone else agree?
