Almost all bands use in-ears on large stages. A lot of smaller bar
bands even use them now that they're more affordable.
A former bandmate now plays drums for a band here in the area. He uses
both an in-ear and a seat kicker, which essentially puts a "bump" in
his ass that matches the tempo of the song.
