Highly depends on your requirements. I've tried dozens that don't meet all
of mine, but may be suitable for you.
Then there is a major consideration whether you want freeware, or are
prepared to pay for shareware or commercial programs.

I found writing my own database was the only way to get everything I
wanted,
but the extra time spent is hard to justify.

If you find something full featured/versatile, customisable, fast, and
inexpensive, do let us know :-)
