Beat who used to tour with The Ramones.
Now that the music is being re-recorded by new artists, Kim Shattuck and
her band The Muffs decided to take on this classic rock and punk and power
pop anthem by The Beat from 1979.
Has anyone heard of this band? They originally performed Rock N Roll girl
which has been recorded by Art Alexakis and Everclear nowadays. They were
called The Beat and later changed their name to The Paul Collins Beat to
avoid confusion with the british band. The Paul Collins Beat was fierce
and toured with bands such as The Ramones and other legendary acts. I went

The songs sound great but the music videos show a fierce performance. It
says that Paul Collins Beat are on a world tour in europe at the moment.
