Heh  And to think that it was only a few years ago when people used to
lament that she wasn't doing the solo thing any more and would complain
about how the last thing they wanted was another member added to the
band.

My two cents.  I've seen her solo and without the band and my vote goes
to seeing her with the band.  More energy, more upbeat songs that I
want to bounce around to.  She certainly has more than plenty of energy
whether she's doing the solo thing or not, and plenty of songs to chose
from that can make you bounce around and feel connected to if it's just
her and one of her big guitars.  I dunno, last couple of times I've
seen her were when she was solo and except for a few older songs tossed
in here and there, the music and thw shows were slow and lacking
energy, and the funeral-dirge lyrics turned me off.

I'd like to see the band slowly added back into the tour at some point.
 A drummer here, a horn there.  Perhaps it would add a little life back
into Ani's shows for me.  I'm seeing her twice in July though and
looking forward to it.

Wow.  I haven't posted here in ages.  Wonder how long it will be until
I do so again.  Huh.
