Queen have musically resurrected late Beach Boys star Dennis Wilson.
The band's guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor completed the
unfinished Dennis track 'Holy Man' nearly 25 years after the musician -
the only Beach Boy who surfed - drowned.
Brian told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "It was a song that
Dennis had begun shortly before he died but never finished. Beautiful
piano playing, wonderful spiritual feel, the whole track spoke to me
like a poem and seemed to be steeped in the spirit of this mysterious
man, the Beach Boy who surfed.
"I wanted to do my bit to realise it to the full. Roger loved it, too,
added his voice to the harmonies and did some nice percussion so the
whole thing now has a subtle Queen overtone."
Dennis was The Beach Boys' drummer, and his 1977 solo album 'Pacific
Ocean Blue' was critically acclaimed. He drowned two days after
Christmas in 1983 after diving into the ocean in California, America.

QUEEN stars BRIAN MAY and ROGER TAYLOR joined the FOO FIGHTERS' TAYLOR
HAWKINS on a tribute to late THE BEACH BOYS drummer DENNIS WILSON.
Drummer Hawkins was drafted in to provide vocals on Holy Man, which
will feature on an updated version of Wilson's 1977 acclaimed solo
album Pacific Ocean Blue.
And Hawkins has been joined by May and Taylor who also wanted to pay
tribute to the star, who died in 1983.
May insists it was an op****tunity he couldn't turn down.
He says, "I got inspired. It was a song that Dennis had begun shortly
before he died but never finished. The whole track spoke to me like a
poem. I wanted to do my bit to realise it to its full potential, so the
whole thing now has a subtle Queen overtone."
