rhymes.......there's a story in there, man!  "Split, Man"! is akin to

The main character in the song is so full of himself that he believes
all that
he has to do is "move in" & the nerd the "Little Girl" is with will
be
dumped in favor
for the "Cool Surfer Dude"........The music backs up his
