Spirit Of Rock And Roll Beach Boys version not just Brian Solo. Does it exist booted?

by leereznor <lninvp@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 20, 2008 at 04:35 AM

I am a proffesional studio engineer and musician working on remasters
of all mono tracks to stereo properly (good vibes done 6 diff versions
including one in 5.1, full stereo medley including up tempo version
and many traxxx), but one thing i remastered recently was brian
wilsons - the spirit of rock and roll, but the dylan part sound
horrid. i have the backing track, and his background vocals isolated,
HOWEVER i dont have any of him singing the lead to dylans part, so im
at an impasse tem****arily.

I was wondering as I was playing my 25th anniversary concert with the
full beach boys singing it, is there a bootleg of the backing track
they used in that concert floating around anywhere? not only does it
not have dylan on it, but the beach boys extra vocals in the intro and
chorus are amazing.

My father's been hoping for something like this for years, and i've
been estranged from him for years and am reuniting with him soon, and
it would mean the world to me if i could finish this track for him
properly...if anyone has access to anything that might help please
write me here or LNINVP@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
am not looking to sell anything, this is a personal project that i
may be sending along with the remasters to the beach boys through a
contact.

I know that performance of the spirit of rock and roll at the 25th
concert was them just singing overtop of the studio layer track, i can
hear it, esp brian's live lead over the studio (slighly lowered) vocal
track.
