I just watched the tv replay of the recent concert at Madison Square
Garden that celebrated Elton John's 60th birthday and 60th performance
at the Garden. He sang the song he wrote following John Lennon's
death. We all know that John's last live performance was with Elton
John at the Garden. So much of the Beatles lives is public knowledge,
but I have never read anywhere about when and how John Lennon and Elton
John met. I know they were great friends, but I was just wondering how
their friend****p started, etc.
