Can someone here help me with this?
A couple of years ago a friend gave me a cassette tape called "Butcher
Covers: An Internet Tribute to the Fabs". The cover art is a modified
version of a shot from the butcher cover session; mine has serial
number 000193 printed on the edge. It's fan covers of a number of
Beatle songs -- a few very clever, most reasonably good, and a couple
that should have stayed on the fan's home recorder.
I can't tell anything more about it, but I'm told it may have
originated here years ago.
Does anyone know who produced it? Have information about the
individual tracks and performers?
