That's one nice thing about CDs, it's easier to make custom compilations
than in cassette days. I try to make the CDs for my car as full as
possible. Mine, which I must have made about a year ago, has, in this
order: the AHDN album (Feb.-June '64), the two German singles (Jan.
'64), then from the "Beatles for Sale" sessions, "I Feel Fine" and
"She's A Woman" (Oct. '64), the BFS album (Aug.-Oct. '64), and then
"Leave My Kitten Alone" (Aug. '64). (Oddly, on "Kitten" John leaves out
about half the lyrics!) If there had been more room, I would have
included some of the "Long Tall Sally" EP, possibly concluding with
"Sally" because the Beatles used it to close so many of their concerts.
