1st use of varispeed by The Beatles?

Hi all,

Can someone find a definitive source about when The Fabs 1st used
Varispeed when recording?  What song and date?  I'm not talking about
Martin recording piano at half speed, such as in Misery or In My Life,
but REAL Varispeed - frequency controlled tape speed to change timbre
etc.  I always associated it with '66 and Revolver, but someone is
telling me that it was used earlier -  in '65.  I can't seem to find
it referenced/listed in indexes of Lewisohn or Everett etc. (damn them
for BAD indexing!!).
