"Recording Sessions" has been released several times but the rights are 
not owned by Mark Lewisohn, so it hasn't been updated. You may be 
thinking of his later book "The Complete Beatles Chronicle", which 
includes some of the information from "RS" as well as from Lewisohn's 
earlier book "The Beatles Live!" and other research/do***entation updates.

Lewisohn is currently working on a three-volume definitive history of 
the band, with the first volume due to be published (so far as we know) 
in 2010.
