I challenge you to find a quote where Marcus says he "dislikes
Israel". You owe that to him now, after making such an accusation. You
are imagining all kinds of anti-semitic bogeymen where what actually
exists towards Lieberman is a dislike and distrust of what people
largely perceive as a slimy, two-faced, self-serving, phony,
op****tunistic bastard, no matter how many times he votes the way I'd
want any Senator to. I wouldn't have liked him as a high-school
classmate and I don't like him as a US Senator. Unfortunately, as
convenient as it would make things for you, my antipathy for the jerk
has nothing to do with Israel, it has to do with my perception of his
lack of character.
You, on the other hand, do seem to have ONLY one interest in
politicians - how they stand vis a vis Israel - and you are willing to
forgive almost any transgression or character flaw as long as they
sup****t your bias.
