Now that you mention it...that seems like a very good reason to make
another nomination for him.

Palmjob Paddle

Named for the most-spanked person in the history of the Internet, Wilhelm
Palmer (Bill Palmer, aka "Palmjob"), the self-styled Flame Giant who has
never won a single flamewar in his existence. This award is given to the
person who gets spanked (as in, thrashed) the most in a given month, be it
by their opponents or even their own hand.

For his continuing insistence, in the face of contradicting citations
from multiple sources (not just Wikipedia), that the Greek folk music form
"rembetika" is in fact Greek blues, and that American blues is derived
from rembetika, along with his contention that all "folk music" is really
just Irish popular music in drag, despite further contradictions from
authoritative sources, I do hereby nominate for the Palmjob Paddle: the
Greek (note, this merely signifies his ethnic origin, and is in no wise
meant to insult the people of Greece, but to highlight his hypocrisy and
kookiness) Idiot known as Agamemnon, of rec.arts.drwho and two of the
soc.culture.* groups just added.

Seconds?

If there are any authorities on jazz/blues/rembetika/folk music/"Irish
popular music" in the newly-added groups, and they can substantiate
Aggie's arguments, please feel free. OTOH, if you'd just like to smack
Aggie around, or whine about cross-posting, then by all means, go right
ahead.
