After it was kindly brought to my attention, I discovered that my
claim of winning the Alabama state champion****ps is incorrect. I had
gotten the impression while attending the Tennessee Valley Fiddlers'
Convention (where I have won the banjo and fiddle contests) that its
competitions were considered the state champion****ps for each
instrument, but a couple of email exchanges have since shown that this
is in fact not the case. My websites have been updated accordingly.
I'm sorry for any confusion that this may have caused, and glad to
have gotten my thinking on this matter straightened out, as it was not
my intention to make misleading claims!
