Very nice, Patrick. I even learned a fine point about changing strings
that I didn't know before (even after almost 50 years of playing
banjo). We still have a skin head on an 1890s era Stewart, and I
assume if we ever have to change it again, we'd have to replace it
with skin -- it's probably an oddball size head. It would be nice to
see how it's supposed to be done. I vaguely remember soaking the skin
overnight in a bathtub, and that there were lots of ways to do it
wrong. So I vote for a demo video of that process.
