I've heard the same line in the Nick Nack song by Ridgel's Fountain
Citians.
I never thought much about the connection to This Old Man, but it is
defiantly geared toward children. Yazoo even issued the song on one of
their
children compilations - The Story the Crow Told Me (which are great
compilations for adults as well!).
