Volume Two is supposed to be coming out before the end of this year,
ain't it? The latest re****t I've seen is the Times interview from
last month, which just says 'later this year'. Anybody have any more
specific info? I wonder if it will be more of the same? I wouldn't
put it past Bob to construct Volume Two differently, just for the sake
of messing with a popular format. Personally, I hope he doesn't, as
Volume One is one of my favourite Bob Dylan products of the last
decade or so. It certainly ranks with Love & Theft, and perhaps is
even higher, it has a sparkle and freshness that maybe it's not easy
for Bob to get across these days on a record. As with the radio show,
his excitement at embarking on a totally new project is palpable,
except with Chronicles he's not just sitting around playing great
records, making sly remarks and er, 'reciting' poetry - he's produced
a beautifully written do***ent. Assuming Volume Two is more of the
same, what would you like to see it cover? The Highway 61 sessions
would be great, and I'd also love to read an account of the 1988 tour,
which has always had an air of mystery about it for some reason, but
also sees a fresh start and the beginning of the NET
