Yes, Mrs Usha,D.O.playback artiste Shamshad Begum has suggested
15.11.2005 at 1700 hrs for tete-a-tete with the legendary singer
wherein BCSP will be FIRST to present SB with a nostalgia of her
'youthful-voiced melodies' from a no.of her Lahore-made films and some
Bombay-made films of the early '40s/'50s decade.
BCSP will take this unique op****tunity to UNRAVEL from wonderful
mysteries concerning Indian cine music/MDs that no cine music
journalist hitherto would have ever even thought off,or attempted to
probe......Why?.... due to lack of research.
Attempts to photograph SB holding the 'cassette presented' to her from
BCSP will be sincerely made for the benefit of all RMIMers,if it suits
them fine.
BCSP has requested Mrs.Usha to make her mother prepared mentally for a
melodic journey into her youthful days of singing and re-live those
wonderful times she cherishes it so much.
