Thanks for that. That's a very nice program. Before I saw your post, I
had
written a program that displays a piano keyboard on the screen, and you
can
click the keys and it plays thru the midi. Mine isn't java, but is a
standalone program like the HDMapper that you posted. I don't know why I
had inserted 'java' in the original subject of this thread. ROFL.
Since then, I've improved it quite a bit and even added the ability to
play
..HDS songs, which are songs written in Notepad, using the same syntax as
the
HDMapper that you posted.

I've contacted the people who wrote HDMapper, which shows a hammered
dulcimer instead of a piano keyboard, to see if we can combine both
programs
into one.
