Visiting friends at the weekend they told me their ten-year old
daughter was learning guitar, would I like to hear her play. I was
slightly daunted when she pulled out a Hannah Montana purple guitar
(if you don't know who Hannah Montana is consider yourself lucky). She
played a bit, I showed her some things and we had fun. I was
pleasantly surprised by the guitar. Made 'in association with'
Washburn and dirt cheap. Painted so hard to tell what it is made of
but some kind of hardwood laminate I think. This one had a really nice
action though the intonation got a bit iffy up the neck but fine for a
beginner. Sounded better than a backpacker. Might make a good travel/
noodling-at-work guitar. Colour would put off thieves (unless they
were preteen girls...)
