Having use of a 6 string (Thanks Roy!)has motivated me to play a few open
mics. Last night I made the 60 mile drive to Bellingham to play at the
Wild
Buffalo's open mic held on Wednesday nights. Great stage, excellent
acoustics, attentive sound tech and a level of talent higher than what I'm
used to seeing. Did a couple of Marc Cohn tunes and the Michael Hedges
version of "Watchtower" and was invited to come back as a paid featured
performer. Yeehaw! Got my groove back on!
