I recently bought a 1961 model, their first year of production. I
returned it because it didn't have much projection or volume. Lovely-
looking and well-made, though. This is only the second one I've
played, so maybe this was a dud. One I played at Eric Schoenberg's
shop sounded much, much better. I doubt it would hold up to hard
strumming, as it's just not made for that. If you can, play some other
0 size guitars first to see if suits your style.
