Uhhhggg! For going on 10 years now, I've been the "kid taxi". Over this
summer I'm down to 40 mi. a day taxi-ing one kid who is still in town.
For
a couple years it's been just over 60 a day darting them to and from
schools
and/or activities. Next year, one will be starting at a school we will
hopefully walk to (just under a mile) and the other 2 will be about 8
mi./day (including dropoff and pickup.) I know for some the 60m/day is a
minor commute but it's a lot for me.
